About the event
This walk is led by Samantha and Emma from the High Weald AONB team. No booking required, just turn up 10 minutes before and make yourself known to the walk leaders - however if you are planning to bring children, please email Emma and let us know so we can be sure to bring enough craft materials: emma.white@highweald.org.
The route is based on the Bidborough Primary School Welly Walk, which is designed to be suitable for children. We will take in some lovely views of the surrounding area from the churchyard, then walk through some ancient woodland. You'll see sunken routeways and meadows, and hear about some of the AONB team's work to conserve this precious landscape. There will also be some fun nature craft for the little ones.
