Guided Walk at Old Lodge Nature Reserve
Old Lodge lies within the heart of the Ashdown Forest. Join us for a circular walk of approximately 5km looking for heathland birds, dragonflies, reptiles and other wildlife. Led by a Sussex Wildlife Trust Ranger.

Walk details: This walk is classed as Leisurely. There are a few gradients, and one pretty steep 50m section. There are 2 stiles and 3 gates. The walk is on a wide-open landscape of heather and grassland, dotted with gorse, birch, oak and scots pine. It sits higher than the surrounding West Sussex heaths, giving it a cooler, damper climate more representative of northern upland moors.
