Robertsbridge Railways and Rivers Ramble
A gentle 2.6-mile circular walk from the historic village of Robertsbridge, going under and over railway lines, along streams and over the River Rother. Led by Simon from the High Weald AONB team.

About the event
This walk is led by Simon Fathers, High Weald AONB Access & Engagement Officer. No need to book, just turn up 10 minutes before the start time and make yourself known to the walk leader. Please note walk leader will have a dog.
We will pass an abandoned old mill and the world-famous Grey-Nicolls cricket bat factory. Can be a little uneven in places and a couple of short muddy sections if it has been wet. There may be grazing livestock in some fields.

Obstacles: Slight gentle gradient on one short section

Robertsbridge Station is on Hastings to London Caring Cross line. Bus stop at Station and in High Street near The George Pub. Bike racks at station.
Further info: WC at village car park nearby. Two pubs in village, and Judges tea room for refreshments afterwards. Well-behaved dogs on short leads welcome. Be sure to bring water and a snack/packed lunch if required.
