Ashdown Forest walk which includes the Old Airstrip, built as an emergency landing site in WWII and a visit to the old Vachery Garden recovered by the Friends of Ashdown Forest. A 5-mile circular walk across open ground.

About the event

This walk is led by Pauline - High Weald Walkers. No booking required, just turn up a good 10 minutes before the start time and make yourself known to the walk leader.

Obstacles: No gates or stiles. Some long gradients.
