This walk is led by Pauline from High Weald Walkers and explores the secrets of The Vachery Garden and the Old Airstrip, a WWII emergency landing site.
Walk distance: 5 miles
Walk duration: 2.5 hrs
Obstacles: Uneven ground and some hills. Two crossing of the A22.
Meet-up point: The Ashdown Visitors Centre car park Wych Cross, RH18 5JP car park. Parking charges apply.
Information: Accompanied children welcome: - below 18 years must be accompanied by adult with parental responsibility. Well behaved dogs on short leads allowed. There is cafe and toilets at the visitors centre at Wych Cross, or at the garden centre at Wych Cross.
