Dark Skies of the High Weald
Enjoy a leisurely twilight walk and talk led by members of the High Weald AONB team and a local stargazing expert, all about the importance if the High Weald's clear, starry night skies. You'll also be treated to an atmospheric Dark Skies Story.

This walk is led by Samantha Nicholas and Rachel Bennington from the High Weald AONB Team, with special guest Doug Edworthy, a local stargazing expert. This is an easy walk starting as the sun goes down so that we can look at the wonder of the stars in High Weald sky. There will be two stops so that we can look at the stars and listen to Stories of the Stars. There will also be a short talk on the importance or reducing light pollution. Please bring something to sit on i.e. chair or picnic rug and wear appropriate clothing as it may be cold.
