This is a hilly walk with far-reaching views. We will explore Wealden farmland and woodland, and see how the drought has affected the micro-climate of the ghylls.

About the event

This walk is led by Heather from Rother Ramblers. No booking required, just turn up a good 10 minutes before the start time and make yourself known to the walk leader.

Distance: 10 miles

Duration: 5 hrs

Obstacles: A hilly walk with some stiles and uneven surfaces.

Meeting point:  Meet in the Co-op Car Park (Free) in Cranbrook, in the lower end. Post code TN17 3DQ. Map Ref. TQ775 359. All parking in the village of Cranbrook is free.

Walk details: Take refreshment for a brief drink and lunch stop en route.
