About the event
A leisurely walk alongside the route of the former railway line, climbing to a viewpoint at 50m. Descend past 15th/16th Century manor houses and climb to the church and medieval centre of Goudhurst village at 115m.
A light lunch is available in the Grade II listed village hall.
Walk distance: 4 miles
Walk duration: 2. 5 hours
Obstacles: 3 stiles and a typically undulating walk through the High Weald
Walk information: Booking required. Led by David & Pamela from the Kent Hop Pickers Group. Parking is free. A light lunch is available in the village hall. Clean WC in the car park. No dogs or children under 12. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
