This 4-mile walk follows the former railway line; climbs to Trillinghurst Farm (50m), descends past the 15th-16th century Pattyndenne Manor; the 16th century Smugley Farmhouse, through the medieval center of Goudhurst Village on the hill and concludes at the former oast house, now a social club.

Meeting point: Meeting point Goudhurst Public Car Park. Post code: TN17 1AE Grid Reference: TQ722376. Free parking, plenty of space Sunday mornings. The walk starts and ends at the car park near the cross roads at the village centre.

Walk details: Walk is classed as Leisurely.
