About the event

Starting at Wadhurst station we'll head west towards Lightlands, built in 1544 on the site of King John’s Hunting Lodge. From there, we'll join the Sussex Border Path and enter Eridge Park and visit the folly at Danegate. The return leg gives views of Rotherfield before returning to Wadhurst via the high points of Marks Cross, Best Beech and the former convent at The Mount.

Walk duration: 5 hrs
