This 4-mile walk takes in Toad Rock via Nevill Park then explores the Commons with a pause for refreshments by the Cricket Ground & Wellington Rocks. Continue across varied areas of the Common including The Old Racecourse. Final stage through The Pantiles with more opportunities for for refreshment.

From the unique geology that has supported stunning rock formations and natural sandpits, to habitats that attract a wide range of plants and animals, Tunbridge Wells Commons has it all. Explore this urban gem in the centre of a thriving spa town.

This walk is led by Nigel Bourne - High Weald Walkers. No booking required, just turn up a good 10 minutes before the start time and make yourself known to the walk leader.

Duration: 2 hours

Obstacles: Some gradients

Meeting point: The meeting point is in Tunbridge Wells at 10am outside the Smith and Western Bar which is to the left of the entrance for the car park for Sainsbury’s, Homebase and Lidl. TN2 5QL. Three hours free parking available.
