Explore one of the UK’s finest historic landscapes at the fourth annual High Weald Walking Festival
Join experienced and knowledgeable guides on inspiring walks suitable for all ages and abilities. Enjoy a themed walk covering local history, art, literature, wildlife or geology. A selection of self-guided routes will also be available for those who prefer to explore under their own steam.
Located in the heart of South East England and covering parts of Kent, Sussex and Surrey, the High Weald is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
An extensive network of footpaths, bridleways and ancient byways makes this historic landscape a walker’s paradise. From avid ramblers and nature spotters to history buffs and photography fans, there’s something for everyone to enjoy - or you can simply take in the view!
We are currently planning the routes for this year's Festival, so sign up to our mailing list for all the latest updates.
PLEASE NOTE: We are hoping to offer guided walks in small groups by September, but the Festival will be run in strict accordance with COVID-19 guidance in place at the time, so arrangements may change at short notice. Please bear with us, and thanks in advance.
