High Weald Walking Festival 2026

THE 2026 WALKING FESTIVAL IS NEARLY OVER!
Most of the walks have now taken place, but there will be one more walk on Saturday 26 September, at RSPB Broadwater Warren and Eridge Rocks.
If you have been on one of our walks this year, please remember to fill in one of our feedback forms to help us keep improving the Festival in years to come.
Our self-guided walks will remain available until the end of September.

The High Weald Walking Festival Team
The Festival is a collaboration between the High Weald National Landscape Partnership and four local Ramblers groups: High Weald Walkers, Rother Ramblers, Battle Ramblers and Mid Sussex Ramblers.
What is the High Weald
National Landscape?
The High Weald is an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is a medieval landscape of wooded, rolling hills; studded with sandstone outcrops and a rich patchwork of small fields, scattered farmsteads and ancient routeways.
Situated in the heart of rural South East England, the High Weald National Landscape covers 1,461 square kilometres across the counties of Kent, Sussex and Surrey. It is the fourth-largest National Landscape in England and Wales, and without doubt one of the most beautiful.
